Program Overview: Free transportation for persons 60 years of age or older with a limited income. Limit of 6 trips per year. Polk County operates 6 multipurpose senior centers and 10 dining centers. Each senior center serves as a focal point for area seniors and neighborhoods. The dining centers are open 4 hours per day. Drivers are volunteers using their own private vehicles so rides are dependent upon those circumstances. Riders must be able to get in and out of vehicle independently. No handicap vehicles available. Professional appointments only.

Eligibility: ONLY for families living in WDM area and other Western suburbs. Program Overview: Clothing closet and personal items provided.
Program Overview: West Des Moines Human Services provides transportation to the West Des Moines (WDM) Senior Center for seniors in the following communities: West Des Moines, Windsor Heights, Clive (Polk County only), and Des Moines (Frisbee Park area only).
Transportation to the Senior Dinner club and to the Des Moines Senior Center are also available.
